Josh and Doug’s professional relationship began when Josh tutored Doug’s son in chess. As a National Master and former Canadian Chess Champion, Josh brings that same strategic focus to the banking industry, where he has excelled since 2003.
His diverse career spans roles from Teller to Commercial & Agriculture Account Manager, Wealth Advisor, and Insurance Specialist. A dedicated lifelong learner, Josh earned his Certified Financial Planning (CFP) designation in 2016 and his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation in 2024. He takes pride in his unique ability to break down complex financial concepts into simple, actionable advice.
Outside of work, Josh is a hockey goalie, an avid cyclist and snowboarder, and enjoys lake life with his wife, Jenn, their three children, and their dog, Haddie.
